Leisure Port

Next to Vasco da Gama beach, we find the Sines Leisure Port. It is the only leisure port infrastructure located on the sea coast between Troia and the Algarve, which benefits from an intense yachting throughout the year. An imperative stopover for leisure boats travelling along the Portuguese coast, whether in national or international routes, the leisure port not only opens new perspectives to the town tourist exploitation, but to all Costa Vicentina region.

The Sines Leisure Port consists of a breakwater, a hauling wharf, slipway, marginal restraint, embankments, pontoons and fingers where yachts can berth, as well as a wide range of other services. Its current mooring capacity is about 230 berths, which is complemented by parking places on land.

It is currently operated by the company Mermaid Objective, under a public service concession, which includes the right to commercially exploit all services and existing facilities, as well as services that are seen as complementary to the yachting activity, with a view to developing this business unit.
